Spring welcomes Triveni’s solo gigs!
MARCH 23rd, 2026 | NEW MUSIC, NEW VIDEO
“Als de tuin de winter in slaapt wiegt” is a new Triveni composition born from ninehundred years of silence and spirituality.
In January 2025, I had the privilege of a residency at the Abdij van Park in Leuven, a place where ninehundred years of history, spirituality and humanity are interwoven. Want to hear how this sounds like? Watch this video!
The video is a production of the Merodefestival, Wesp and Leuven city.

NOVEMBER 10th, 2025 | INTERVIEW ON RADIO KLARA

Klara: “During her studies, Barbara Ardenois immersed herself in Scandinavian nature and culture. The Far North became a source of inspiration for the debut album Two Winters, One Midnight Sun – Nordic Landscapes by her trio Triveni. Her dreamy, gently melancholic music carries the listener through Finnish forests and evokes moments of quiet contemplation.”
OCTOBER 2nd, 2025 | DEBUT ALBUM AND AUTUMN TOUR

In March 2025, I’ve recorded my debut album Two Winters, One Midnight Sun – Nordic Landscapes. For these recordings, I invited two dear friends and fellow musicians, Ingrid Rodebjer (Sweden) and Hanna Ryynänen (Finland), whom I met during my Nordic journey. Their improvisations and deep roots in traditional music add new colors and atmospheric layers to these cross-cultural soundscapes.
The album will be released online on November 15th, 2025.
Just a few weeks later, on November 28th, we will set out on tour in Flanders, Belgium. The première takes place at GC Spikkerelle in Avelgem.
More details about the tour can be found on the playtime page as well as on the flyer below.
Curious about my music?
My singles Woudsterweg and Where Sunlight Dances and Shadows Rest are now available online.

OCTOBER 7th, 2024 | TRIVENI

On Monday, October 7th, Cluster organized their global music showcase at De Casino in Sint-Niklaas. There, I presented my solo project for the first time under the name ‘Triveni’. The name Triveni, referring to the confluence of three rivers, symbolizes the three musical influences I bring together in my music. In the fall of ’21, when I moved north for two years, I began to intertwine my lyrical playing style with free-bass accordion with elements of Swedish herding music and Karelian kantele improvisations. This is how my own dream world emerged, my Dreamy Folk Flow: music for the quiet hours, when daylight grows or fades. I wanted to share that moment through this photo taken by Bart Vanoutrieve.
MAY 7th, 2024 | NEW VIDEO
Ingrid Rodebjer and I had a residency in Austria in March 2024 and… we’ve made a new aristic version of ‘Spirit of the meadows’! My composition is inspired by Swedish herding music and landscapes. This video is an artistic version in collaboration with Jonny Kölbl (march 2024). My music falls under the genre of “Dreamy Folk Flow,” designed for the quiet hours, when daylight grows or fades. Have a listen, hope you enjoy!

(S. Houtman)
MARCH 2022 | NORDIC FOLK MASTER
I’m currently studying The Nordic Master in Folk Music (NoFo), a joint study programme offered in collaboration between higher education music academies in four countries: The Royal College of Music (KMH) Sweden, The Danish National Academy of Music (SDMK) Denmark, Ole Bull Academy (Voss) Norway and Sibelius Academy Finland.
This video is a little throwback to my wonderful time at KMH – Kungl. Musikhögskolan Stockholm last autumn.
